A 75+ year old world class industrial controls supplier with a track record of producing reliable, made-to-last, user friendly, cost effective products seeks to aggressively pursue increased sales in its South Texas territory by adding an additional sales engineer. Since this is a newly created position, there is tremendous, “sky is the limit” opportunity for a mid-career, ambitious, career-focused industrial controls/instrumentation sales professional who has a proven blend of hunter’/farmer attributes.

Duties:
The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of a sales account including new account development -- which will entail a significant amount of outside sales calls --, while maintaining & cultivating the current customer base.

Qualifications:
The qualified individual will have a proven track record -- 3+ years -- of outside or distribution sales experience, preferably in the Southern Texas area, within the industrial controls/instrumentation industry. A 4-year degree, preferably in related field is required. Must be willing to dedicate the time – minimum of 50% travel is required to make this a successful position. This position will be based out of Northeastern, OH; the applicant should be local to the area since no relocation package is being offered.
