Job Description:

A southwestern Ohio company specializing in lean manufacturing and automated solutions seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer.

Duties:

• Create and modify PLC programs (AB, Omron) for newly design automated control systems.
• Work with and supervise electricians in the assembly and installation of electrical control systems, keeping the projects within budget.
• Design PLC based systems for industrial automation.
• Test, debug and upgrade control systems at customer’s location.
• Create electrical drawings on computer aided design system.
• Specify all electrical products and create bill of material for electrical control systems.

Qualifications:

• Must have a BS in electrical or electronics engineering.
• 2-3 years of experience with creating PLC programs for automated control systems.
• Applied experience with testing, debugging and upgrading control systems
• Travel to customer sites will be required
• Experience with electrical product specifications and creating bills of material.

Salary:
