A well-established and world class industrial manufacturer/supplier with a track record of producing reliable, made-to-last, cost effective products seeks a sales engineer to aggressively pursue sales in its Central North Eastern U.S. territory. 2008 was a great year for the Sales Engineer who last held this position, sales are -- as would be expected -- down this year but this is one of the best managed companies in the country and it will be well situated to majorily increase sales when the economy comes back making this a "sky is the limit" opportunity for a mid-career, ambitious, career-focused industrial sales professional who has a proven track record of selling to the automation systems, panel builders, & system integrator industries..
Duties:
The chosen applicant will be responsible for managing all aspects of a sales account including new account development -- which will entail a significant amount of outside sales calls --, while maintaining & cultivating the current customer base.
Qualifications:
The qualified individual will have a proven track record -- 5+ years -- of outside and distribution sales experience, preferably in the Central North Eastern U.S. area, within the industrial automation systems/system integrator industries. At least a 2-year degree, preferably in a related field is required. Must be willing to dedicate the time - minimum of 50% travel is required to make this a successful position. This position will be based out of Northeastern, OH; the applicant should be local to the area since no relocation package is being offered.
